Welcome to ABC17’s Fire in the Sky, Presented by Columbia Insurance Group. Fire in the Sky began more than 50 years ago with the Cosmopolitan Club of Columbia shooting off fireworks for the community on July 4th. Now, ABC17/Fox38/MyZou32 and Stormtrack 24/7 have taken the event to new heights hosting thousands of Missourians at Faurot Field on the campus of the University of Missouri with live entertainment and the biggest and best fireworks display in Mid-Missouri.
